The Geospatial lab is located in the Natural Resources Building at Michigan State University.

Most of the research conducted in the lab relies on our small, but growing, Linux cluster. For larger processes we use the 512-core or 1024-core cluster at the High Performance Computing Center. The lab is outfitted with several Linux workstations running the bleeding-edge of open source geospatial and statistical software.

The lab is currently supported by multi-year National Science Foundation and USDA Forest Service projects.
